Happy Birthday, Nicole!

This cute gal made me a momma 23 years ago today. {After 19 1/2 hours of in-hospital labor.}

Funny story: it was a Sunday, and the last NFL game before the Superbowl. I was getting close to delivery, and the doctor, the anesthesiologist, and my hubby were all watching the game in my room. I have no memory of who was even playing. It finally got to where the nurse cleared her throat and calmly said, "I think it's time for her to push....." And then suddenly the focus was back where it should be. I'm sure I did not laugh about it then, but it's a fun story to tell now!

This little gal may have interrupted a big game, but she loves football now. :)
