Confused

Please tell me you have mixed up these:

From my Bountiful Basket I gleaned what I was sure were two zucchini. I saved them carefully on my counter with the intent of making some delicious zucchini bread...Brown Sugar Zucchini Bread, no less. Last night I began my bread making endeavor by shredding one of my lovely "zucchini." As the sent wafted up from the bowl, I realized that it wasn't zucchini at all....but a cucumber! And now I cannot get over how I, experienced gardener and grower of both zucchini and cucumbers, could have confused the two?! If I thought I was crazy before, now I'm sure of it.
