I think this is my kids' philosophy on campfire roasting ideas. Because of them, we have roasted Starburst candies (pretty good), dill pickles (not as good--they said it tasted like "a hot pickle"), and Twinkies (yum). After the experimentation, we roasted the old standby marshmallows and made s'mores. You can never go wrong with s'mores! We've tried our s'mores with Reese's peanut butter cups instead of Hershey's chocolate bars, and they were delicious.
