Hot Sandwich Rolls {Pizza Dough Variation #3}

Here is another variation on the pizza dough I posted here.

These are yummy Hot Sandwich Rolls. If you know how to make cinnamon rolls, the process is the same. Take your risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle. Spread with a thin layer of mayo or cream cheese, add the seasonings, turkey or ham and shredded cheese, and roll up into a long log. Carefully slice the log into 1-inch rolls and place them on a greased baking sheet. They will look like this:

Let them rise while you preheat your oven to 375. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until deep golden brown. If you take them out too soon, you will have raw dough in the middle, so let them get deep golden brown first.

Rolls as shown:

mayo
onion salt
dried parsley
smoked turkey
shredded Cheddar Jack

Also good with spreadable cream cheese, basil, turkey, ham, cheddar, and Monterrey Jack. Endless options!
**Note** If you sprinkle the cheese on the mayo and then lay the meat on top, the cheese will stay inside the rolls much better as you slice them. Use a serrated knife with a light touch.
