Fly like an eagle

Jared was awarded his Eagle Scout Award last night!

There was a live eagle there. A golden eagle named.....something in Swahili. That's probably why I can't remember what it was. Anyway, she was beautiful. See?

We took pics of Jared with the eagle.

We could NOT get him to look at the camera for anything!

It's just like when we went to Disneyland when he was two. Every character picture we took, he was looking up at the character just like he's looking up at the eagle. So cute and funny.

He wanted to give out two mentor pins, and they were both a surprise. One he gave to his dad:

And the other to one of his grandpas.

They were both surprised!
